Donors make a difference by impacting the work and mission of Kettering Health Foundation with their support.
The Grace in Action Society recognizes donors who have provided for Kettering Health Foundation in their estate plans. We acknowledge the generous intentions of those who will have a lasting contribution and make a real difference in the lives of Kettering Health Foundation members and their families. The name honors a pivotal moment in our history. When Virginia and Eugene Kettering donated the land for what would become Kettering Hospital, Virginia reflected on the compassionate care she had witnessed for polio patients at Hinsdale Sanitarium. She described that care as "Grace in Action." This phrase captured the spirit of service and healing that inspired the creation of Kettering Health - and now serves as the foundation for this important giving society.
